Background Information on AAAS Meeting
AAAS Annual Meeting in St. Louis will explore the universe of science and technology. In-depth seminars will examine the biomedical and social ramifications of nanotechnology, the physics and economics of virtual worlds and the frontiers of mathematics. A special half-day event for teachers will explore the challenges to teaching evolution. Plenary lectures will feature some of the worldâ€™s most accomplished science and science policy thinkers. The popular Family Science Days will be back, of course. And a wide variety of career workshops will resonate with both young and senior scientists.
Altogether, AAAS Annual Meeting will feature more than 200 symposia, topical lectures, special events and other sessions.
