Ellen K. Pikitch – Panelist: "De-fueling the food web"
As a member of the panel, “De-fueling the Food Web,” Dr. Pikitch will share the recommendations of the Lenfest Forage Fish Task Force about the steps that need to be taken in an ecosystem context to avoid overfishing forage fish. The Institute is part of a three-day series of "Cooking for Solutions" events, during which the Monterey Bay Aquarium brings together great chefs as well as key figures in the organic foods and sustainable seafood movements. The Institute is specifically designed to reach – and influence – members of the food and environmental media, as well as food industry leaders.
