Designers and Scientists are Together Trying to Save Coral

"Coral is a style classic, but the real thing is rapidly disappearing. Scientists and designers are banding together to save the exquisite sea creatures before it is too late."

Dr. Andrew Baker, the lead scientist of the Pew Institute's Reefs of Hope project says that "he has seen interest in coral conservation rise since Chantecaille's collection hit the stores, and he is certain that designers and their customers will help further the cause." "Optimism is build into my work," he says.
