PARTNERS & SPONSORS
PARTNERS
The Institute for Ocean Conservation Science strives to increase public understanding of the causes and consequences of marine degradation while also promoting solutions. Through our partnerships we are working to further conservation of marine life and ocean environments around the world.
CONSERVATION MAGAZINE
The Institute for Ocean Conservation Science is proud to be one of eight key partners supporting Conservation, a sophisticated, readable, and practical magazine for people who want the latest news about conservation.

Published by the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) and backed by some of the most influential organizations in the field, Conservation seeks to close the gap between science, practice, and policy through lively journalism and real-life case studies. Check back here for updates on our work with Conservation and SCB.

SHARK SAVERS
Shark Savers is a non-profit membership organization founded in 2007 dedicated to increasing awareness about sharks and providing ways for people to get involved to help save them. Shark Savers creates and supports campaigns for shark conservation, as well as reducing consumption of shark products.

The organization was founded by six divers with a long-held passion for the oceans, the quality of the ocean environment, and sharks, and has grown to thousands of members worldwide. The Institute and Shark Savers have entered into a partnership to develop community-supported marine protected areas called "Parks for Sharks," beginning with Glover's Reef, Belize.

SPONSORS
A wide array of philanthropic organizations and private donors support the Institute for Ocean Conservation Science, which was established with a founding grant from the Pew Charitable Trusts. These include the Lenfest Ocean Program and others.

We appreciate the generosity of our sponsors and their foresight in understanding the importance of the Institute’s work for the marine environment, global food supplies, jobs, recreation, and the health of world economies. Contributions from those who believe in our mission enable the Institute to address the most pressing problems facing the oceans and their inhabitants.

Working together we can create positive change for the sea, for the earth, for us.
